In one of my first exchanges to Canada, I realized that culture is more than just about good or bad. It is rather a network of factors set together in a new environment. Along my studies I came across studies from Hofstede about cultural differences. His dimensions helped me to differentiate cultures, rather than just picking differences and sorting them into an “ABC”. To be honest though, sorting them into ABC is way more fun!
